Opera Unhinged
Opera, but make it unhinged.
Challenging the boundaries of opera with bold new ideas and a commitment to making the art form accessible, electrifying, and utterly unmissable.
The Company
Breaking the fourth wall since 2025Opera Unhinged was born from a simple conviction: opera belongs to everyone. We tear down the velvet ropes, ditch the stuffiness, and put the audience, the music, and the story front and centre.
Plate 1. Oran and Rob, the Original Cast.
From intimate performances in unexpected spaces to full-scale productions, we're reimagining what opera can be. No wigs, no pomposity, no barriers. Just extraordinary music, extraordinary stories, and the occasional dramatic flourish.
Because opera isn't a museum piece. It's alive. And it's got a lot to say.
